Livingstone

The town of Livingstone was established in the early 1900's and prospered from its position as a gateway to trade between the north and south sides of the Zambezi, as well as from farming in the Southern Province. It was the capital of Northern Rhodesia for 28 years and there are many early century buildings dotted around the now bustling town. Livingstone has a special charm and there are many places of interest besides its location, only 10kms from Victoria Falls. The Livingstone Museum houses many of the great explorer's artefacts and chronicles his journeys through Africa, as well as other interesting sections to explore. There's the Railway Museum and a Crocodile Park and just a few minutes away is the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Here you'll find a wide range of antelope, giraffe, zebra, elephant and Zambia's only rhino's. It's a great place to enjoy relaxed game drives or walking safaris with exceptional photo opportunities.

LOCATION / DIRECTIONS

	Ngolide Lodge is located on Mosi-oa-Tunya Road, only 8km from the mighty Victoria Falls. Mosi-oa-Tunya Square Shopping Mall is only 2km from Ngolide Lodge and the town centre is a short 10 minute walking distance. Livingstone International Airport is only 10 minutes drive from Ngolide Lodge.
	If driving to Livingstone from Botswana or Namibia, when you reach the intersection of the Nakatindi Road turn right on Mosi-oa-Tunya Road. Ngolide Lodge is only 2km along Mosi-oa-Tunya Road on the right hand side.

VISAS

Single Entry and Double entry Visa’s are available at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport Livingstone and other border posts.$50.00 USD single entry and Double entry $80.00 USD for certain Nationalities. Others have to apply prior to arrival at Zambia Embassy or High Commission. Please confirm with travel agent or immigration authority before travelling.

They will only accept cash payment in USD.

For multiple entry Visa you need to make prior arrangements with your nearest Zambian Embassy or High Commissioner Consular before you arrive in the country. These are not available at the Airport and Border posts.

NB. All passengers in transit through South Africa going to or from Zambia need a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
